Sunk submarines In memory of a sinking in the gulf of Salerno |
|
At break of the dawn waters had a rustle and deep bottom was quaking in the hustle waves spread human plights. After bursting of fire widthe sounds of weak life resounded in the higher. widthespread like a flame news filled my bore with echoes of chance, but in steel coffin core last noises fell silent. Begun widthows' tears . . . and wet clotted straight on their scares On the yesterday's daily still lasting two lines remind me an old story of sorrow and pines. Didn't cause outcry, their sounds had no chance in the past remote still of the water expanse. And nowadays is dead even the mothers' pain but sea whispers still the endless death's refrain of things. Bare notes of black ink remain secrete into the dusty archives of a forgetful defeat. |
